明治元年創業の京都間人 炭平旅館の「人々のご健康とご多幸を願う栄養満点のたまご菓子」が大変多くのお客様に親しまれました。そのたまご菓子をより多くのお客様にお届けするために菓子司を創業。人々のご健康やご多幸の願いを込めた菓子作りを志し、店名を「全ての幸せの根源」という意味を込めて「本巣ヱ（もとすえ）」と命名。ご当地の栄養満点のこだわりたまごを使い、ご健康とご多幸を願う謹製品をお届けいたします。
The "nutritious egg confections wishing people good health and happiness" at the Kyoto Taiza Sumihira Ryokan, established in 1868, were well received by many customers. In order to deliver these egg confections to even more customers, we have established a confectionery shop. We named the store "Motosue" with the meaning of "the root of all happiness" in order to make sweets with wishes for people's health and happiness. Using local nutritious eggs, we offer you our special products to wish you good health and happiness.
