The IIME FUKURAME exhibition for young artists, which is open to public submissions, was first held in 2018 and has been jointly hosted since then by Daimaru Matsuzakaya and Hakkendo. Since last year, artists have been selected by putting out calls for participants with ties to the local region where the exhibition is being held. This latest exhibition will feature works by 12 artists who were awarded the Grand Prize, Gallery Prize or Popular Vote Prize (best artist as selected by exhibition visitors) at this same exhibition held in November 2021 at Matsuzakaya Nagoya and December 2021 at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin.
